  • Cable Jumper

I'm international now! My first published pattern outside the United States! The Cable Jumper is published in the British magazine, Simply Crochet, Issue 93. It can also be found through Ravelry.

It looks more complicated than it is, so give it a try! It's a short pullover, barely comes to top of the hips. Made in light weight yarn to be worn over a cami.

  • Piped and Piped Pendants Hat Set

If you like texture in your hats, this pattern is for you! This pattern includes two different styles and three different sizes.

This looks way more complicated than it really is and surprisingly, it's not really a yarn-eater like a lot of post stitch patterns are; only requiring one skein of yarn.

Rated for intermediate skills, but I think an advanced beginner would be able to work this pattern, too.

  • Keyed Pathways Hat and Scarf Set

This is a hat and scarf set for Mom and Daughter.

The smallest (17”-19”) hat fits for a toddler, the medium (20”-22”) for a child or small adult, and the large (22”-24”)for us bigger people.

The small hat and scarf uses 1.75 skeins of yarn, the medium hat and scarf uses about 2.25 skeins, the large hat and scarf use about 2.75 skeins of yarn at specified gauge.

Advanced beginner to intermediate skill level.

  • Victorian Inspried Cloche

A fun Spring or Fall hat made with Sport wieght yarn. DK weight could also be used with a bit of hook size adjustment an/or gauge tension.

Three sizes to choose from: Small, Medium, and Large with only one skein needed for a single-colored hat of any size. Looking to add a contrast color? You will need approximately 16.5 yds/15 meters.

    Written instructions only.

  • Camel-lot Scarf for Him

This scarf works up quick with a lot of drape, and the stitch pattern does not create a lacey or holey fabric. It’s thin enough for warmth and does not create excess bulk. It can be made using either a sport or DK weight yarn.

Due to a couple of special stitches, two hooks will be needed but the bulk (pun NOT intended!) of the scarf is done with the larger hook.

Depending on the stitcher’s tension, yarn weight, and hook size, the scarf should only take between 250-325 yards of yarn. This scarf was made using USJ-10/6 mm and USH-8/5 mm hooks with a sport weight yarn, and it’s approximately 4.5 inches/12 cm wide by 82 inches/208 cm long.

  • Reversible Strands

This hat has a lot of versatility in color selection(s), stretch, and style and reversible means that there is no right or wrong side to this hat! It can be worn with the ribs facing out for a raised texture, or it can be worn with the smooth side out for a more subtle texture. One, two, three, four, or as many colors as you would like to use.

The pattern includes 3 sizes and instructions for both the straight and spiraling ribs. The ribs can be vertical, which men seem to really like, or they can spiral around for a softer look, which women seem to prefer. Lots of choices with this pattern; Have fun!

  • Starburst Afghan

This afghan is made up of squares that are joined together. The combination of the solid centers of the squares with the lacey joining give an elegant, airy look to the afghan. Post stitches are used in the center of each square to make a "flower' or "starburst". This design can also be used just as a single square, such as a pillow, or a purse/bag front piece.

  • Man's Cable and Post Vest

This vest is crocheted starting at the front waist, wored up to the shoulders, then down to the back waist. The trim around the waistband, armholes , and neckline are all done at the same time as the body. Then when you've crocheted that last stitch, the only thing left to do besides wear it, is to sew the side seams together!

  • Color Twist Hat

Your choice of colors to be used. This hat has an interesting "twist" to the banding that gives the hat a textured, dimensional look.

Chosen for the Crochet Liberation Front’s first ever crochet book!

  • Little Boy's Blues Blanket

This sweet pattern works up quickly. Done in three panels with main color, it's joined with interesting, textured stitches in complimentary contrast color, and finished with a matching straight-edged border

Just as easily made in colors for girls, too. Add a frillier border such as the one pictured here. Or go large, make it a Momma or a Daddy size! (more yarn would be needed for that, though!)
